Today’s Question:

What is your favorite part of blogging? Is there a least favorite part of blogging?

I like everything about blogging! I would have to say the moment a post goes up and people comment on my posts and I get a chance to reply would be the best part. I like interacting with my guests.

If there was a least favorite part of blogging, it would have to be when I can’t think of anything to write while writing a review and the words just don’t come to me.

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Happy Reading!

Today’s Question:ย When reading a book, do you use a bookmark to mark your place in the book, or do you just fold over the top corner of the page?

Mother of God. If you ever. EVER. Fold the top corner of the page of MY BOOKS. Including Library books that I have taken out YOU. WILL. PAY.

The image below says it all:

Today’s Question:

ย Candy Corn, a chocolate bar, or Popcorn. Which of these snacks are your favorite to eat while reading?

Chocolate Bar. Not into the candy corns much, and popcorn is fine and all but that’s more for a movie thing. Since my brother was here to visit he brought up some chocolate bars from Canada that they don’t have here so I’m all set for Halloween reading! ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great Halloween all!!! enjoy those spooky books!

Love the logo btw! I love Halloween!!!!

Today’s question:ย ย  Who is your favorite horror/suspense author and why?

Naturally, Stephen King. My first book written by him was Carrie and it was unforgettable. A close second is Adam Nevill. His books are creepy and enjoyable.

Anyone got recommendations? I’m always up for horror novels any time! but it’s extra special around this time of the year ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Reading everyone!

Today’s Question:

Have you ever bought a more expensive edition of a book, when a cheaper edition was available, just because you preferred the cover of the more expensive one?

Oh hell yes. Especially if it’s a series. If the series don’t have matching covers hell breaks loose and I go on a hunt to find them. Harry Potter was a big thing for me. Unfortunately not all my covers match for that one.

It’s like the series if some are hardcover and some paperback. Nope. All. Must. Match. ๐Ÿ˜€

Happy Reading this weekend all!

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

BookDateMonday.jpg

Reading has been pretty slow lately. I think I hit a rut. I think I know the book responsible. Nevertheless we power on! I’m also really hooked on Darkest Dungeon which has also taken up most of my spare time. Not really good when you have lots of good books to read, but again sometimes it’s nice to take a break and let the mind vegetate for a few hours (okay..I’ve been playing more than that…awful awful me)

I did manage to finish one book:

I’ll be reviewing this one and the post should be up tomorrow.

I’m reading this for an upcoming book blog tour and the world building is excellent and so far it’s not that bad. Arian is starting to grate on my nerves though. I’ll let you all know why when I review it when it’s my turn on the blog tour!

Started this one and really like how it’s going. I’m in need for some real good sci fi with a bit of noir mixed in. Imagine Futurama but more gritty and no comedy (dry sense of humor is more like it).

Not much progress on this one a few pages here and there but I still love the read. I find Dante and Colomba make quite an interesting working pair despite Dante’s quirks and Colomba’s past trauma (which we have yet to know what happened – yet you’re given snippets here and there.)

Besides finishing Siege and Storm, this book was the one I was focusing on the most. I’m nearly halfway and I’m so intrigued as to what’s going on. I’ve noticed the chapters are short in parts of the book which probably attributes to the feeling you’re progressing faster but the plot is so..wow. I’m loving this one so far. I really want to know who’s behind this Pact and what else our Alice and Jake are in for.

These are my reads for the week. Let’s hope Darkest Dungeon doesn’t take up all my time and I try and at least gome some reading done ๐Ÿ˜€
