Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about the read-a-thon…
Are you planning on participating in the upcoming 24 Hour Read-a-thon (either as a reader or cheerleader)? Have you made any preparations for the event? And, veterans out there, any tips you’d like to share with the newbies?
- I seriously wish I could participate! However Saturdays I do grocery shopping in the morning and then the hombre plans something for me to do so there goes half of the day. Then the other half of the day it’s hockey. I just found out it’ll be my team vs the hombre’s team scheduled to play this Saturday (Canucks vs Leafs). So in other words. No can diddly do. See why I like Sundays so much? Sunday is my sabbath. I vehemently let everybody know that and they leave me alone lest they face my wrath. However, a wonderful big heartfelt kudos to those who are participating in this read-a-thon. I will be cheering all of you participants on the sidelines while watching the hockey game (I’ll have the laptop with me and twitter so I can chat and cheer you guys on!) go bookworms go!

What an awesome prize to cherish!! You rock! Great list of books as well! For the read-a-thon, I will be a cheerleader (unless my kids decide to cooperate, then I may get in some reading as well, lol) I love these read-a-thons!!
