Monday Combo 10/5
Here is this week’s Monday combo!
—————————————————————-
Today’s MUSING MONDAYS post is about books on your wishlist…
Last week we talked about keeping a wishlist. Why not pull out that list and show us some of the books you’ve been eyeing off?
- A book that’s been sitting there on my wishlist for months and months? It’ll have to be The Baker’s boy by J V Jones. I’m supposed to be getting it soon but it’s been hard to find, and also since I asked the hombre to get it for me he still has yet to do so. That’s ok. I’ll just sit patiently and wait. Something like this can be used as ammunition during those little arguments.
har har.

In My Mailbox:
The Darkroom – Gerard Ross
The Deadly Doll – J Burke
Carnival of Horrors – Phillip Preece
All from the same publisher. I’m in the mood for spooky reading
—————————————————————–
Library Finds:
The Queen’s Gambit -Diane Stuckart (An interesting mystery featuring Leonardo Da Vinci)
The Hunger Games – Suzanne Collins (finally I can see what the hype is all about!)
————————————————————-
So what did everyone else answer/find/receive?

I only have one book on my list too!
Because I have no impulse control where books are concerned and tend to just buy them, especially if I can find a used copy online. Huge TBR pile=tiny wishlist.

Good library and Milbox lists. I haven’t heard of The Baker’s Boy.

Yay – The Hunger Games! I really hope you like it!
On my wishlist: Sea Change by Aimee Friedman
New to TBR: Shiver and Cracked Up to Be
New for Review: Secrets of a Christmas Box
I’ve been trying to limit the number of books I accept for review because I have to catch up; I really shouldn’t be purchasing books, but I can’t help myself. lol
